Cheeseburgers

I should have posted this yesterday, as apparently it was National Cheeseburger day in the U.S.  Apparently there really is a day for everything here!  So let's jazz up those burgers with Velata!  I'm not here to give out a recipe but to spread the word for a product that I am an Independent Consultant for!  I love selling Velata and it is delicious!  Instead of using the traditional cheeses on your burgers, why not get a tub of Velata cheese and spread it on your burger!  There is 4 different cheeses to choose from: Cheddar, Fiesta Queso (my personal favorite), Smoked Gouda AND a Bacon Cheddar!  All will go very well with those burgers!!!  Through the 30th of this month, everything (except the alotta velata package) is 10% off!  Try out the products at a discount!  If you love, then come back for more!!!  I am also offering my own personal special this month and to get that you have to email me for at photogal314@aol.com and please put in "Velata" in the subject line!
Also, a special that is put out by Velata is a tasty deal!  Not only is the warmer still 10% off, but if you order a Party Size Warmer (red or black), you'll get TWO tubs of Cheese for FREE!  OMG that is amazing!!!  Go to the website below to take a look for yourself!

Crockpot Recipes

It's about that time of year where more people are breaking out those Crockpots.  The weather is starting to cool down, school has been in session for a bit now and there is just a lot more going on!  I decided instead of randomly posting a crockpot recipe, that I would just compile a list here and you can choose!  There will not only be recipes for lunches/ dinners, but desserts as well!  I know, that is just awesome!  Most people, like me until last year, never really consider the crockpot for desserts or even breads!  So I'll be throwing some of that in on this list!  I hope you enjoy some of them!

Lazy Easy Pizza Dinner

Looking for a quick easy good dinner.  This is what I did last night!  I got home around 6:45pm and still wanted my make dinner for my husband (who wasn't getting home till 7:30 usually but last night didn't get home till after 8pm from work) and I.  I had a loaf of French Bread, jar of Pizza sauce, cheese and package of pepperoni!
Now, there won't be any measurements here, so when making this, think...how many people am I making this for and am I going to be serving anything with this?  With those two thoughts in mind, continue reading!

I didn't use the whole french loaf, because that would be TOO much for just two people.  So I cut what I thought would be the right amount for us and then sliced in half like I was making a sandwich.  I love a lot of sauce, so I put a good helping of it on.  I like the cheese onto of my meat, so I laid down a thin layer of pepperoni before topping with cheese.  I used a mozzarella & provolone cheese mixture, but use what you prefer OR have on hand.  Then to give it a bit more flare, I sprinkled Cayenne pepper, black pepper and Oregano on top!  I then baked in the oven on 350 degrees for about 15-20 minutes.  Oh they were delicious!

I also served a pretty good salad!  I don't ever buy ice berg lettuce, because there is little nutrients in that.  If I'm going to eat a salad, I want to maximize the nutrients I'm taking in, especially with being pregnant.  So I usually buy spinach, but this time I bought A Super Greens mix, that had spinach, kale and arugula!  I added some whole grain croutons, a little bit of cheese, light amount of salad dressing and a few other tasty items!  I recommend serving a super green salad mix of your choosing with the French Bread Pizzas.  Then why not, serve with a nice glass of wine!  I know I would have last night if it wasn't for being pregnant.  Enjoy!
